Handmade soaps - olive oil base

These gorgeous soaps are handmade in small batches, so each soap bar looks different. They contain no cosmetic or food colouring, but are naturally coloured with clays or plant extracts. Nor are there any artificial fragrances which many people find unpleasant. Only essential oils are used for fragrance, carefully chosen for their uplifting or calming effects. In addition, only unrefined and virgin oils are in the soap to maximise retention of their beneficial properties. They are a pleasure to use, a world apart from the industrially made soaps most of us were brought up on. They are naturally high in glycerin and contain oils that clean and condition the skin without drying it.

Where possible organic ingredients are used. When ingredients are bought from third world countries they purchase only from businesses operating under fair trade principles. For example they currently buy unrefined shea butter, virgin cocoa butter, virgin coconut oil and wrapping paper from fair trade businesses.

The pure olive oil soaps are made with 100% organic extra virgin olive oil. Their lather is smooth with small fine bubbles. Pure olive oil soaps are extremely mild.

Olive Oil soap with lavender & palmarosa

Made with organic olive oil grown in the Margaret River region of Western Australia and swirled with plant-derived colour. The combination of lavender and palmarosa essential oils is calming and soothing. Contains certified organic extra virgin olive oil, lye, alkanet root extract, essential oils of lavender and palmarosa.

No preservatives.
